On July 10, 2026, Telman Nusratoglu, Assoc. Prof. and Head of the Department of History and Archaeology at Khazar University, delivered an academic presentation as part of the Summer Talks program organized at the Institute of Turkish Studies of Marmara University in Türkiye.

In his presentation, Assoc. Prof. Telman Nusratoglu extensively analyzed, based on archival documents and press materials of the period, the events that took place on the Caucasian front during World War I, as well as the humanitarian and moral support provided by Azerbaijani Turks to Ottoman prisoners.

During the discussions held after the presentation, questions from the academic staff and attendees present at the event were answered, and an exchange of views was conducted on the topic.
