A grand opening ceremony was held at the Garabagh village secondary school in Fuzuli, which was reconstructed through the initiative and financial support of "Dunya" School.

As reported by Bizimyol.info, within the project, the Garabagh village secondary school underwent major renovation, and a new assembly hall meeting modern standards was constructed. The asphalt pavement surrounding the school and other necessary infrastructure elements were also renewed and handed over for use by students and teaching staff.

The opening ceremony, held on June 8, 2026, was attended by Aygun Isayeva, Director of "Dunya" School LLC; employees of the Fuzuli District Executive Authority; Ramella Mammadova, Head of the Fuzuli District Education Sector; Narmin Musayeva, doctoral candidate at the Free University of Berlin (Freie Universität Berlin), Germany; members of martyrs' families; local intellectuals; the staff of the local school; and other guests.

School Principal Alihusayn Yaqubov opened the event with welcoming remarks, expressing gratitude on behalf of the staff for the work carried out.

Speakers at the ceremony — Ramella Mammadova, Head of the Fuzuli District Education Sector; Ulkar Bayramli, Head of the Social-Political and Humanitarian Affairs Sector of the Fuzuli District Executive Authority; Sakit Abdullayev, an "Erasmus+" trainer active across European countries; and Qulu Quliyev, father of a martyr — spoke about the extensive state-led reconstruction efforts in the liberated territories and the attention devoted to education. The speakers praised the initiative of the "Dunya" School as an exemplary model of public-private partnership and a valuable contribution to the country's overall education policy.

Aygun Isayeva, head of the "Dunya" School, expressed her gratitude for the warm hospitality shown, emphasizing their pride in having realized such a project at the Garabagh village secondary school and reaffirming that support for this regional educational institution would continue in the future.

Built on close collaboration, Khazar University's "Dunya" School has been contributing to the development of the Garabagh village secondary school in Fuzuli district for nearly three years. During this period, numerous visits and productive meetings have been held between the parties for the purpose of mutual experience exchange.
