Dr. Elvin Ahmadov, Head of the Department of Petroleum Engineering, delivered a presentation at the International Conference dedicated to the memory of Kenzhibek Ibrashev, Honored Oilman of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held at Atyrau University of Oil and Gas in Atyrau, Kazakhstan.

Participating in the conference in an online format, Dr. Ahmadov presented a paper entitled “Drilling Challenges in Azerbaijan’s Gas-Condensate Fields.” During his presentation, he shared his insights on the geological and technical issues associated with deep gas-condensate reservoirs, as well as potential approaches to addressing the challenges encountered during drilling operations.

The topic presented at the conference was highly appreciated by the scientific community, and it was decided that the paper would be published in the university’s scientific journal.
