Head of the Department on AnewZ channel

On May 4, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, Head of the Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy, was a guest on James Ezimoha's program on the AnewZ channel on the topic " Next Chapter: Pashinyan Enters Crucial New Phase".

Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev indicated that the Armenian parliamentary elections can be considered an event of historical importance for the country. According to him, this process is an important factor affecting not only the internal political life of Armenia, but also the overall dynamics of the region, given the current peace agenda with Azerbaijan. He also touched upon the role of Russia in the region and its interest in the election process.
