On May 6, 2026, a meeting was held at Khazar University with Dr. Hazir Ullah, Vice-Rector of the University of Chitral of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, organized by the International Relations Office.

The University of Chitral was represented by Dr. Hazir Ullah. Khazar University was represented by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Mahammad Nuriyev, faculty and department representatives, as well as staff members of the International Relations Office.

During the discussions held between the parties, inter-university cooperation opportunities, educational prospects, and exchange programs were addressed, and views were also exchanged on potential joint projects to be implemented in the future.
