On May 20, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, Head of the Department of Political Science and Philosophy at Khazar University, gave an interview to AzEdu.az on the topic "100 points in a master's degree can "go down in history..." - What gaps should be filled?"

Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev touched upon this issue and said that scoring 100 points in master's exams has become very rare in recent years, and the changes made to the exam system make it even more difficult to achieve this indicator. He noted that the new model includes essay writing in a foreign language and assessment of speaking skills, which is not fully compatible with test-oriented preparation. According to him, it is important to better coordinate the levels of education - secondary school, bachelor's and master's - in order to ensure high results.
