Aytac Misgarli, Director of the Khazar University Library and Information Center, participated in the "7th Istanbul International Library Staff Week," held at Koç University in Istanbul, Türkiye, from May 11 to 15, 2026. The event, organized by Koç University within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, was dedicated to the theme "Rethinking Higher Education and Libraries in the Age of Artificial Intelligence."

The international event brought together library and information professionals from various countries, with discussions centering on the development of academic libraries, digital transformation, the application of artificial intelligence in libraries, and opportunities for international cooperation. During the event, guided tours to the Rami Library and the Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar Museum of Literature were organized for participants.

As part of the program, each participant delivered a presentation on their respective university and library. Aytac Misgarli provided a comprehensive overview of the Khazar University Library's operations, electronic resources, innovative services, and participation in international projects. The presentation was met with great interest by attendees and prompted discussions on prospects for future cooperation.
