An "Open Door Day" for students' parents was held on May 12, 2026, at the new academic building of Khazar University's Hasvet Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The primary objective of the event was to familiarize parents with the faculty's educational process, clinical facilities, students' practical training environment, and ongoing academic activities.

As part of the event, parents toured the examination and treatment rooms, laboratories, surgical units, and practical training areas of the modern, fully equipped teaching and clinical facility. Faculty Dean and Doctor of Philosophy in Biology Chichak Aliyeva provided parents with detailed information on innovative approaches applied in veterinary education, efforts to develop students' clinical competencies, as well as the faculty's future development prospects. Parents' questions were also addressed, and their suggestions and feedback were heard.

During the meeting, presentations were delivered on the integration of students' theoretical and practical knowledge, international cooperation opportunities, research activities, and internship programs.

At the conclusion of the event, parents gave high marks to the modern academic and clinical environment created for students, noting that such initiatives are of significant importance in strengthening university-parent collaboration.
