On April 6, 2016, the management meeting for partner universities in the “Restructuring and Development of Doctoral Studies in Azerbaijan in line with Requirements of Higher Education Area” NIZAMI ERASMUS + Capacity Building Project was continued at Khazar University. At the meeting, a representative of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences spoke about doctoral admissions and students, and Dr. Fikret Tuna of Fatih University spoke about the structure of doctoral studies in Turkey.

Then Dominika Hobzova of Masarykova University made a presentation about doctoral education in the Czech Republic. The presentations were followed by discussions on comparisons of doctoral studies in various countries. Dr. Veronique Montero of Montpellier University (France), coordinator of the project, closed the event which had been held for Khazar University for two days.

The conference will continue on April 7 and 8 at Baku State University.
