Professor Samantha Curle of the English Language and Literature Department at Khazar University has co-authored an article titled “Robot-Assisted Language Learning (RALL) for Communication Skills Development in Maritime-Themed EFL Education: A Study of Secondary School Students in West Sulawesi, Indonesia”, published in the Southeastern Philippines Journal of Research and Development (Vol. 31, No. 1, 2026).
The study examines the effectiveness of Robot-Assisted Language Learning (RALL) in enhancing communicative competence among learners of English as a Foreign Language (EFL). Conducted with secondary school students in coastal regions of Indonesia, the research incorporates maritime-themed instructional materials to ensure cultural relevance and contextual alignment.
