Melek Kerimova, coordinator of the Psychology Department at Khazar University and head of the Psychological Services Center, participated in an academic mobility visit to Akdeniz University in Türkiye on May 4, 2026, within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.
As part of the mobility visit, Melek Kerimova delivered a lecture on "The Application of Art Therapy Techniques in Individual and Group Psychological Services." The lecture, held in the auditorium of the Faculty of Education, was received with great interest by master's and doctoral students and academic staff.
The lecture covered the theoretical foundations of art therapy, practical application methods, its use in individual and group therapy, as well as its role in enhancing emotional expression and psychological well-being. Participants were actively engaged in interactive discussions.
This academic visit serves to advance international cooperation between Khazar University and Akdeniz University, facilitate the exchange of experience, and strengthen scholarly and pedagogical ties in the field of psychology.
It should be noted that the Erasmus+ program is one of the most prestigious programs supporting academic exchange and the enhancement of international experience among higher education institutions.
