Ulvi Babasoy, Assoc. Prof. at the Department of Languages and Literatures of Khazar University, visited Hasan Kalyoncu University in Türkiye from April 6 to 10, 2026, within the framework of the Erasmus programme. He delivered lectures to students of the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts at Hasan Kalyoncu University on topics including "Multidisciplinary Approaches in Literature and Architecture," "The Poetics and Psychology of Space," "Narrative Architecture and Semiotic Methods," "Phenomenological Approaches in Literature and Architecture," "Ekphrasis and Visual Translation," "Architectural Elements in Azerbaijani Literature," "Architectural Elements in Turkish and Western Literature," and others. The lectures were attended by Prof. Gülname Özdemir, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts at Hasan Kalyoncu University, Dr. Meltem Ararat, Head of the Department of Architecture, as well as other faculty members and students. As a result, the aesthetic and poetic tendencies of architecture and literature as two distinct disciplines were discussed. Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts Prof. Gülname Özdemir stated that the lectures would have a positive impact on students' creative thinking and intellectual development. Ulvi Babasoy answered questions from both students and faculty members.
