Azerbaijan ranks 2nd in the world among 108 countries in terms of the number of student scientific papers submitted to the 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2026), with 814 papers — representing a 29 per cent increase compared to the previous year.

Khazar University is among the universities whose students have submitted scientific papers to the congress from Azerbaijan for 2026. It is worth noting that the research papers submitted by students cover a broad spectrum of the space industry.

The 77th International Astronautical Congress will be held on October 5–9, 2026, in Antalya, Türkiye.
