Commemoration seminars dedicated to the memory of the Khojaly genocide victims were held on February 26, 2026, organized by the Department of History and Archaeology at Khazar. Students were informed of the historical facts surrounding the Khojaly tragedy, provided with detailed information on the nature of the events, and it was particularly emphasized that preserving national memory is a contribution to one's national and historical roots.

Within the framework of the seminars, department instructors Dr. Nurlan Nasirov, Dr. Yagub Mammadov, Kamala Mustafayeva, and Samira Hadiyeva conducted special topic-related seminars during their classes. During presentations, the historical, political, and legal aspects of the Khojaly events were analyzed in depth, with facts and archival materials presented.

Students' questions were also answered, an exchange of views on the subject took place, and the memory of the Khojaly victims was honored with deep respect.
