A teaching and methodological guide titled "Theoretical Foundations of UV, IR and NMR Spectroscopy Methods and Their Application in the Study of Chemical Compounds" by Assoc. Prof. Ulviyya Yolchuyeva, faculty member of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Khazar University, has been published. (Publisher: Baku, 2025)
Spectroscopy, one of the leading fields of modern chemical science, plays an important role in determining the molecular structure of substances, explaining the mechanisms of chemical processes, and conducting analytical research. The publication systematically presents to the reader the theoretical foundations of ultraviolet (UV), infrared (IR) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy methods, the instruments used, experimental approaches, and applied methodology.
The author's new book, reflecting current development trends in spectroscopy, can be used in conducting research in analytical chemistry, materials science, petrochemistry, and related scientific fields.
