On February 11, 2026, a concert by composer and pianist Yelena Popova, who lives in Maryland, USA, was held in the university's Marble Hall. The concert was attended by the university administration, staff, students, and guests.

After the university rector, Dr. Raziya Isayeva, welcomed the participants, the renowned composer and pianist was introduced. It was noted that after graduating from music school in piano class, Yelena Popova continued her education at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at the University of Maryland in 2023, subsequently completing a master's program.

At the concert, Yelena Popova performed both as a composer and as a pianist. The concert was accompanied by the Khazar University Chamber Orchestra (artistic director: Head of the Music and Arts Department, Honored Teacher, and pianist Zulfiyya Sadiqova).
