An online academic seminar on the preservation, study, and promotion of medieval cultural heritage sites was held on February 10, 2026, jointly organized by the Keshichidag State Historical and Cultural Reserve and the "Hazrat Sultan" National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The seminar was attended by representatives of historical and cultural reserves under the State Service for Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, scholars from the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS, and young volunteers. Dr. Yagub Mammadov, faculty member of the Department of History and Archaeology at Khazar University, and students enrolled in the history teaching and history-geography teaching programs of School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences - Natavan Orujova (IV year), Aysel Hasanova (IV year), Konul Ibrahimli (IV year), Maya Hajigayibova (II year), Fidan Ilyasova (I year) - also participated.
Discussions at the seminar focused on research into the shared cultural heritage of the Turkic world and the expansion of cooperation in this field.
At the conclusion of the event, international certificates were presented to volunteers and students.
