Head of the Department on AnewZ channel

On February 9, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, Head of the Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy, was a guest on Nadia Gyane's program on the AnewZ channel on the topic "Armenia aligns law, trade and transit for peace".

Assoc. Prof. Valiyev said that Armenia has already begun to implement the provisions of the Washington Declaration, and Azerbaijan, in turn, responded to this process by exporting oil to Armenia and creating conditions for the transit of cargo from third countries. According to him, political cooperation is impossible without economic integration. The head of the department added that Armenia's amendment of the constitution through a referendum before the parliamentary elections could be an important step in terms of the regional peace process.
