An article titled "Analysis of Aleksandr Mardkovich's Poem 'Haji Baba' in the Context of Cultural Anthropology" by Elmira Mammadova-Kekech, Instructor at the Department of Languages and Literature, Doctor of Sciences in Philology, and Associate Professor, has been published in the journal "Turkish Language and Literature" (Volume 65, Issue 3, 2025), which is indexed in Web of Science. The article examines the history of Karaim Turkish literature and culture, the activities of Avraham Firkovich, the protagonist of the poem, as the first anthropologist and archaeologist of the Karaim people, the manuscripts he collected and the issue of national identity, as well as Aleksandr Mardkovich's seven-part poem "Haji Baba," which reflects Firkovich's life journey, the national identity of the Karaim people, and their connections with the Chuvash.
