Dr. Sohrab Mustafayev, a faculty member of the Department of History and Archeology, has had his article titled "Karşıt Cephelerden Ortak Bir Amel Uğruna: Kafkas İslam Ordusu ve Nuri Paşa" published as a book chapter in the scholarly book "Kafkasya Araştırmaları-IV" (Ankara, 2025), prepared by the Caucasus Studies Institute of Iğdır University (Türkiye).

The aforementioned chapter provides detailed information about the activities of the Caucasian Islamic Army in Azerbaijan under the leadership of Nuri Pasha, including the liberation of Baku from occupation and the emergence of political unity in Azerbaijan.
