Staff Member of Psychology Department on REAL TV

On December 22, 2025, Mirsadiq Mukhtarov, a staff member of Khazar University's Psychology Department and psychologist at the Khazar Psychological Service Center, appeared on the "Xəbərlər" program broadcast on REAL TV. The psychologist spoke on the topic of "psychological problems that may develop in former prisoners." He emphasized that after being released, some individuals may experience adaptation difficulties, feelings of social isolation, anxiety, depressive symptoms, and decreased self-confidence. The psychologist noted that psychological support, social rehabilitation programs, and society's accepting attitude play an important role in eliminating these problems. The psychologist also particularly emphasized the importance of a comprehensive approach for the healthy reintegration of former convicts into society.
