Assoc.Prof. Dilbar Zeynalova, Head of the Department of Languages and Literatures at Khazar University, and a group of department staff members attended a performance of Huseyn Javid's tragedy "The Devil" at the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theatre on December 19, 2025, together with foreign students studying Azerbaijani language and literature. The main purpose of the event was to create an opportunity for foreign students to become more closely acquainted with Azerbaijani literature and theatrical art, as well as to deeply comprehend the philosophical and ideological weight of classical dramaturgy.

During the performance, Huseyn Javid's humanistic ideas, humanity, war, moral values, and the essence of evil forces were presented to the students through stage interpretation. After the performance, Hajibaba Mammadov, Deputy Director of the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theatre, warmly welcomed the students, met with them, and provided brief information about the theatre's activities and repertoire.
