On December 6, 2025, a seminar on "Geography in the Era of Quantum Technologies: Artificial Intelligence and Next-Generation Analysis of Spatial Data" was held under the organization of the Department of Geography and Environment at Khazar University's School of Science and Engineering.

Doctoral student Nurtaj Suleymandzade delivered a presentation on the topic at the seminar.

Within the framework of the "State Program on Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023," he is pursuing doctoral education in Geography at Istanbul University in Türkiye based on a tripartite agreement with the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Khazar University.
