The article by Dr. Rail Safiyev, a lecturer at the Department of Political Science and Philosophy of Khazar University, titled " The Russia-Azerbaijan Rift " published in the October 2025 issue of the Caucasus Analytical Digest (CAD) Journal (No. 143, pp. 2-8, 2025).

The Caucasus Analytical Digest (CAD) is a quarterly online publication jointly produced by the Caucasus Research Resource Center, the Center for East European Studies at the University of Bremen, the Center for Security Studies at ETH Zurich, the Center for East European Studies at the University of Zurich, and the German Association for East European Studies. The Caucasus Analytical Digest (CAD) analyzes the political, economic, and social situation in the three countries of the South Caucasus: Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, as well as the development of the region in the context of international security aspects.
