On 18 November 2025, QS Quacquarelli Symonds, one of the world’s most prestigious ranking organizations, announced the results of the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2026. Eight higher education institutions from Azerbaijan were included in this ranking. Khazar University was placed in the 1500+ band overall and ranked 581^st in the Environmental Sustainability indicator.

Among 2,002 universities from 108 countries, Khazar University achieved strong results thanks to its contributions to research, social initiatives, and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. The university also distinguished itself through its extensive international collaboration and active participation in faculty and student exchange programs.
