On November 4, 2025, Mirsadiq Mukhtarov, staff member of Khazar University's Psychology Department and psychologist at the Khazar Psychological Service Center, appeared on ARB TV's "Toward the Morning" program. The topic of the broadcast was "Hyperactive Children."
During his appearance, Mirsadiq Mukhtarov emphasized that it is inappropriate to consider the behavior of hyperactive children as "restless" or "disruptive." He noted that some maladaptive behaviors in children are often related to attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder. It should not be forgotten that the biological and neurological factors of this psychopathology must be taken into account. The psychologist stated that stigmatization creates serious problems for children and parents, and that misunderstanding of these children by their surroundings can have a negative impact on their emotional development.
