On October 27, 2025, a seminar titled "Azerbaijan Under Seljuk Rule" was held organized by the Department of History and Archaeology at Khazar University.

At the event, Cansu Şimşek (Türkiye), a researcher of the Seljuk period, delivered a presentation providing extensive information about the political, economic and cultural situation of Azerbaijan during the Seljuk period, and the role of this era in the region's history.

At the seminar, Associate Professor Telman Nusratoglu also spoke, sharing his additional insights on the place of the Seljuks in Azerbaijan's history.

The seminar was received with great interest by students and participants interested in the field of history.
