On October 15, 2025, Associate Professor Orkhan Valiyev, Head of the Department of Political Science and Philosophy at Khazar University, published an article titled “Mexico: a world far away” on Fuyuzat.az.

Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Veliyev describes his first acquaintance with Mexico in his article, based on personal football memories and later on his academic activities at Khazar University. The author pays special attention to the friendly relations established with the Mexican Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Victoria Romero, as well as the events held between the university and the embassy. The article also emphasizes the expansion of academic and diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Mexico.
