An article entitled "Turkish Tamgas in Written Monuments of Caucasian Albania," co-authored by Dr. Odar Alizade, lecturer at Khazar University's Department of History and Archaeology, and Assoc. Prof. Yadigar Aliyev, lecturer at the Faculty of Philology of Ganja State University, has been published in "Genel Türk Tarihi Araştırmaları Dergisi" (Dergipark) (volume 7, issue 15, September 2025, pp. 659-678).
In the article, the authors present new approaches by examining the traces of Turkish tamgas in the Mingachevir written monument, one of the written monuments of Caucasian Albania, on a scientific basis. The analysis of the ancient alphabet carved on a stone column found in Mingachevir stands at the center of the research. This study not only demonstrates the existence of signs and symbols belonging to Turks in the culture of ancient Caucasian Albania, but also reveals their significance from a historical science perspective.
