Head of Department on AnewZ Channel

On September 26, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, Head of the Department of Political Science and Philosophy, was a guest of Andy Mio on the AnewZ channel on the topic “President Aliyev’s UN Speech: Key Messages”. Assoc. Prof. Valiyev commented on President Ilham Aliyev's speech at the UN General Assembly and touched on the main issues brought to the attention of the head of state. He stated that the President first spoke about the long and complex path that Azerbaijan has taken from war to peace, emphasizing that this process marks the beginning of a new stage not only for the country, but also for the region as a whole. He also highlighted the importance the President attached to the Washington Summit and the “TRIPP” corridor, stating that it is of strategic importance in terms of both regional and international cooperation.
