On September 5, 2025, and September 12, 2025, Associate Professor Orkhan Valiyev, Head of the Department of Political Science and Philosophy at Khazar University, published two articles titled "Istanbul Diary – 2" and " Sakarya" respectively on Fuyuzat.az.

Assoc. Prof. Valiyev, in his first article, discusses his trip to Istanbul and his experiences at the 2nd International Summer School of the Turkic World, highlighting that Istanbul is both the cultural and political center of the Turkic world while also facing challenges related to urbanization and integration. The article emphasizes Istanbul’s regional significance, the importance of preserving historical sites, and the role of the Organization of Turkic States.

In the second article, the author provides a detailed comparison of his doctoral experience at Sakarya University with the education system, social-cultural, and academic environment of Türkiye and Azerbaijan. The article also highlights issues such as Assoc. Prof. Valiyev’s online defense process during the pandemic and his relationship with his academic advisor.
