Haji Hajiyev, son of martyr Major Abakar Hajiyev, is among those who gained student status this year. He was admitted to the Information Security program (taught in English) at Khazar University with 533 points.

He stated that he has had an interest in the computer field since childhood:

"When computer science was added to the admission subjects in 9th grade, I clarified the group I would choose. I have had many successes in this field. In the World Robot Olympiad held in 2023, I took 1st place in Azerbaijan, and in the world semi-final held in Panama, my team and I were awarded 2nd place.

In 2024, I was awarded 1st place in the Scientists of Tomorrow competition and was selected and awarded as 'Youth of the Year' by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. After these successes, my interest in the computer field increased even more. I think I was not wrong in my choice of profession and university."
