Head of Department on AnewZ Channel

On August 8, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, Head of the Department of Political Science and Philosophy, was a guest of Dilek Tuna on the AnewZ channel on the topic “Azerbaijan & Armenia: Peace talks in Washington”. Assoc. Prof. Valiyev explained that the negotiations will play an important role in the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia. He noted that in order to ensure lasting peace, it is also important to resolve issues such as amendments to the Armenian Constitution, opening the Zangezur Corridor, and demarcation of borders.
