Dr. Muhammad Imran of Khazar University's English Language and Literature Department has published an article titled “Why some jobs just ‘sound’ male: the Arabic language effect" in Cogent Education, Vol. 12(1), a Scopus Q2 and Web of Science- Q2 with 2.3 Impact Factor journal.

This study explores how Arabic language structures and school textbooks shape L1 Arabic students’ gendered perceptions of professional roles, emphasizing the need for gender-inclusive language in education.
