The project "Common Plots and Motifs in the Folklore of Turkic Peoples" submitted by Khazar University's Institute of Cultural Anthropology and Folklore (Khazar MAFI) to the Federation of Turkic Unions Organization (FTUO) has been declared the winner.
The main objective of the project is to systematically study common plots and motifs preserved in the folklore of various Turkic peoples and prepare them for scientific publication. Within this framework, strengthening cooperative relations with scholars from Turkic-speaking peoples and conducting joint scientific research is planned.
The project, which will continue for two years, envisages conducting research work both at Khazar University and at higher education institutions in various Turkic countries. Khazar MAFI will lead the implementation of the project, and both academic cooperation and deepening cultural relations will be among the main directions throughout all stages of the process.
This important initiative holds significant importance in terms of preserving the common cultural heritage of the Turkic world and transmitting it to future generations.
