Training on "Journey to the Depths of the Mind: Hypnosis in Psychology"

On June 23, 2025, a training session on "Journey to the Depths of the Mind: Hypnosis in Psychology" was conducted at the university by Seda Kaşdaş, founder of the "Mental" Psychology Center invited from Türkiye, psychologist-consultant and hypnosis trainer, at the initiative of Khazar University's Psychology Department.

The training was held with the participation of students, faculty members and those interested in the field of psychology. Topics such as the psychological effects of hypnosis, its role in therapeutic approaches and its impact on the deep layers of human consciousness were discussed during the training.

Seda Kaşdaş emphasized that hypnosis is not merely an "impression game" but rather an effective method based on scientific and therapeutic foundations, sharing theoretical information along with practical examples with the participants.

The training was conducted interactively, with participants' questions being addressed, and the stages of the hypnosis process and methods of safe application were explained.

It was emphasized that such events not only expand students' scientific knowledge but also develop skills they can use in their future psychological practices.
