The program's objective was to emphasize the detrimental effects of substance dependency and to educate the population as a psycho-preventative measure. During the discussion, it was highlighted that substance addiction constitutes a global predicament.
In his comprehensive presentation, Mirsadiq Mukhtarov addressed the concepts of behavioral and substance addiction, elucidating their impact on an individual's biological, psychological, and social determinants. Additionally, he provided viewers with extensive information regarding the etiological factors of addiction, preventative interventions, and contemporary approaches to this multifaceted issue. The clinical criteria for substance use disorders were meticulously examined during the broadcast. Emphasizing that the concept of addiction extends beyond mere substance consumption, Mukhtarov underscored the significance of family and community support systems during an addicted individual's recovery journey.
