On December 11, 2024, a seminar on "Mental Resilience and Suicide Prevention" was held at Khazar University by Psychology Department Coordinator Malak Karimova. University staff, psychology students, and psychologists participated in the event. The seminar's purpose was to support increasing mental resilience against suicide, particularly among children and adolescents.

Discussions were held on suicide and enhancing mental resilience. It was noted that strengthening mental resilience is one of the primary steps in preventing suicides.

At the seminar, the university's Law Department Head Jabir Khalilov shared valuable recommendations. He emphasized the importance of further strengthening preventive and educational activities to increase the effectiveness of measures in this area. He also highlighted the need for more effective legal measures to identify and protect the rights of minors suffering from domestic violence.
