On May 15, 2024, the "Azerbaijani Family: Changing and Immutable Values" conference was organized by the Social Research Center on "International Family Day". The problems and future prospects of modern families, open to the public, of the conference were discussed. Malak Karimova, an employee of Khazar University's Department of Psychology, spoke at the conference on " Challenges Faced by "Childish" Adults in Family Life". In her speech, she explained the communication dynamics of immature persons in families and focused on the mechanisms of influence on the emergence of problems in the family.

The executive director of the Social Research Center Sahib Mammadov, deputy Zahid Oruj, the chairman of the Board of the Social Research Center, and Humay Akhundzade, the sector manager of the Social Research Center, also spoke at the conference. Humay Akhundzade presented to the public the analytical report of the research conducted on 3478 people in 2023 on the topic of "Traditional and updated aspects of the Azerbaijani family" based on the "Modern Azerbaijani family report". The main goal of the report was to present issues reflecting family problems to a wide audience.

Later, discussions were organized around the topic and proposals were evaluated.
