On November 25, 2023, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, the second stage of the national art-recitation competition was held under the motto "Sense of words, love of art". Guljannet Mammadli, the 2nd year student majoring in primary school teaching under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dilbar Zeynalova, head of the Department of Languages and Literature at Khazar University, and Valikhan Valikhanli, the 3rd year student majoring in Azerbaijani language and literature under the guidance of Sevinj Gambarova, Ph. D. in philology, took part in the competition and qualified for the final. Guljannat Mammadli performed with the poem ”I'm furious from the hill to the nail” by Ramiz Rovshan, and Valikhan Valikhanli with the poem “I am the land” by Rasul Rza.

The judging panel, consisting of notable cultural figures, selected participants based on various criteria, evaluating them on a 10-point scale (clarity, fluency, and expressiveness of speech; adherence to rhythm requirements; purposeful use of gestures and facial expressions; appropriate tone of voice for the poem's content; presentation skills; and demonstration of artistic qualities, among others).
