On the occasion of the 90th birthday of Mammad Araz, an event was held on October 14, 2023 in the First Alley of Honor organized by the Department of Languages and Literatures of Khazar University. Khazar University students, writers, journalists, family members and relatives of the people's poet attended the event held as part of V Mammad Araz Poetry Day. Before the event organized in a new format, a group of Khazar University students came to visit the grave of the great port, singing his songs “ I don’t know”, "The World is Yours, The World is Mine" from the front of the Elmler Akademiyasi metro station to Alley of Honor. Then the first year students of the university majoring in primary school teaching Shams Javadova (“Come on, Rise Up, Azerbaijan!”), Fidan Guliyeva (“Life”) Asiyat Severkhanova ( "He walked past me and hit my brother") Aydan Zahirova, Ayisha Sadygova, Simuzer Iskanderzade, Sabina Israyilova, Aytaj Guluzade, Khadija Huseynova, Telli Yagubova, Leyla Bayramova, Maleyka Gurbatli, Aysun Museyibova, Farida Abdullazade, Aytaj Guluzade and Sonya Babayeva presented a composition of the poems and songs of the poet in front of his grave.

Moderating the event, the head of the project “Mammad Araz Poetry Day”, the lecturer of the Department of Languages and Literature of the University Gardashkhan Azizkhanli emphasized that the main basis of the creativity of the poet is the idea of freedom, independence and indivisibility of the country, the ideal of a whole Azerbaijan. He said that the events will continue until the end of the year.

Poet Aghajafar Hasanli, deputy editor-in-chief of” Adalat " newspaper Abulfat Madatoghlu, economist Isa Mammadov, a close relative of the people's poet Rashid Mammadov spoke about his memories and expressed their love for the poetry of the unforgettable writer. Shalala Ibrahimova, the daughter of the immortal poet, expressed her gratitude to the organizers and participants of the event.
