On November 25, 2021, the next open lesson was held at Khazar University, organized by the Department of Languages and Literature, as part of the “Integrative Lesson” project.
Vafa Iskanderova, Associate Professor of the Department of International Journalism, Baku State University (BSU) delivered a lecture entitled "Traditional tale formulas in Azerbaijani folklore". Giving detailed information about the formulas, the speaker provided elaborate information about the formulas of other folklore genres along with tales and their points of use. Speaking about the research conducted in this direction in our country, she emphasized that associate professor Oruj Aliyev studied the compositional features of formulas as well. Talking about the features of internal, external, and transition formulas in the narrative formulas, she mentioned that epos, legend, bayati, et c.- each of these folklore genres has its own formulas.
