On April 9, 2021, Khazar University held an integrative online class for first-year students of the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, Economics and Management on “Jafar Jabbarli: Monumental Drama from Lyrical Poems” moderated by Dilbar Zeynalova, Associate Professor, Head of the University's Languages and Literature Department, and subject teacher Gardashkhan Azizkhanli. The class was attended by the director of the Jabbarli House-Museum, President of the Jabbarli Foundation Gamar Bagirova.
Welcoming the guest, D.Zeynalova said that Jafar Jabbarli is a phenomenon with a non-standard and global mentality, his wide-ranging creativity should be re-examined in the light of independence, to be considered on the basis of objective scientific principles. In her speech, Zeynalova also recited the poem "To the Flag of Azerbaijan", noting that this literary text is a unique example of poetry. Subject teacher Gardashkhan Azizkhanli spoke about the exceptional role of Jafar Jabbarli's art in the development of Azerbaijan's artistic and public opinion.
The granddaughter of the unforgettable playwright G.Bagirova made a presentation highlighting the little-known aspects of Jabbarli's biography and poetry, and spoke about J.Jabbarli's praise of Turkish heroism in the plays "Tripoli War or Star" and "Conquest of Edirne". G.Bagirova also spoke about Jabbarli's activity in the “Musavat” party after the collapse of the Republic of Azerbaijan and his arrest in 1923.
Aysun Mamedova, one of the Khazar students who sang the poem “Mother" with special enthusiasm, as well as Afsana Demirchiyeva, Ehtiram Yariyev and Ali Huseynov expressed their deep respect and love for the great poet.
