On March 23, 2020, an article about Yusif Savalan, former Khazar University faculty member, who currently lives and works in Canada, entitled “Singer Promoting Azerbaijani Music in Canada” has been published by Elman Eldaroghlu. The article highlights Yusif Savalan’s commitments in disseminating widely the Azerbaijani music in Canada and the success of the newly created “Khazar Nefesi” Orchestra.

It is worth mentioning that Yusuf Savalan, beside working on Lider TV, also taught French and English languages at Khazar University, while living in Baku in 2003-2006.
