On March 10, 2020, Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, theRector of Khazar University, took part in the business meeting atthe Heydar Aliyev Baku Deep Water Jacket Factory, heldbetween the company management and rectors of severaluniversities, upon the invitation of “BOS Shelf” LLC. Theuniversities invited to the event were the ADNSU, AzerbaijanTechnical University and Khazar University, whose students arecurrently taking an internship at the “BOS Shelf” LLC.

At the event, Ihtiyar Akhundov, the Director of “BOS Shelf” LLC, welcomed the guests and said that the company iscurrently working on the most up-to-date programs and thepresence of qualified Azerbaijani staff is very important. Thus, as the number of Azerbaijani specialists increases, “BOS Shelf” LLC and other large companies will not seek for the specialistsabroad and will give preference to local personnel.

The rectors of the universities, including Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, while delivering her speech, said that universities bear a great responsibility in the staff provision to the production facilities and the importance of developing cooperation between companies and educational institutions.

It is worth mentioning that Erziman Zeyfatov and Zamir Khalygov, Khazar University’s fourth-year students from the School of Sciences and Engineering (majoring in mechanical engineering; at the photo from the left), who are currently taking internship at “BOS Shelf” LLC, have been offered job, following a very serious and intense competition conducted by the company.
