On January 22, 2020, an open semester exam for the first-year students on the Culture subject was held at Khazar University downtown campus. The event was attended by Elza Samadova, the Dean of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, Zulfiyya Sadigova, Head of Music and Fine Arts Department, honored teacher, pianist, Elnara Dadashova, Honored Artist, professor, composer, students and parents.

Head of the Department, Zulfiya Sadigova, in her opening statement provided detailed information about exams and participants. She indicated that the choir, the girls 'dance group, the boys' dance group and the vocalists will pass the exam.

The exam began with the singing of the Khazar University anthem. Students demonstrated their skills.

Ding the event, the romances of the composer Elnara Dadashova, accompanied on the piano by herself, were performed by Mahsati Jabbarova, Khazar University teacher, soloist of Academic State Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev, and Rufat Piriyev, PhD student of Baku Music Academy. Moreover, Khazar University Dance Ensemble presented a performance.

Students' performances were evaluated after the exam.
