On May 11, 2017, Melek Kerimova, Assistant Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Director of Khazar Psychological Services Center, participated at the 9th International Congress of Educational Research coordinated by Ordu University, Turkey and ERA (Education Research Association). She introduced her research work entitled “Connection between Internet Addiction of University Students and its Psychological Symptoms”. The research work conducted among the university students investigates the connection between internet addiction and various sub-scales (somatization, obsession, depression, anxiety, phobia, paranoia, psychoticism). The presentation was greeted with great interest and suggestions were made on conducting intercultural researches.
At the end, Melek Kerimova was presented with a certificate and a book covering the delivered speeches.
1254 researchers from 12 countries took part at the Ninth International Congress of Educational Research organised by Ordu University and ERA (Education Research Association) in Ordu, Turkey, on May 11-14.
