On 15 May, 2017, a meeting with 1996-1997 alumni of Khazar University was held at the university.  Baba Bayramli, Director of Alumni Relations Centre, greeted alumni and gave information about the objectives and expectations of the meeting. Later, Dr. Hassan Niknafs, Rector of Khazar University, noted the importance of establishing close relations between university and alumni and expressed hope that such alumni cooperation will have successful outcomes. Professor Mohammad Nuriyev who expressed his pleasure of meeting with his former students encouraged alumni to participate actively in the university life and noted that publishing series of articles about their successes on “Khazar Review” will be very interesting and useful for students. Ramal Ahmadov, Vice-President of Khazar University Alumni Association gave information about activity of the organization and invited alumni to join the association and become members. Graduates Azer Gasimov, Finance Manager of “BP- Azerbaijan” company, Mirbaghir Mirbabayev, Branch Manager of “Pasha Holding”, Anar Karimov, Head of the Delegation of Hungarian Chamber of Commerce to Azerbaijan and Georgia, Aydin Babayev, Executive Director of "Marketsaz" company, Murad Aslanov,  Branch Manager of "Aristocrat" tourism company, Namig Ibrahimov, Deputy Director of the Social Development Fund for IDPs of the Azerbaijan Republic, Rufat Mahmud,  Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Public Association for ARPA, Yusif Hajiyev, Director of "Barama KM" company, Yusif Mammadli,  representative of "Bioworks company on Caspian region, Khaled Ajalov,  Financial Chief  of "Nort West Construction" company, Kamran Iskandarov,  Sales Manager of "SOLUS Ltd." company, Samir Nuriyev, Manager of "Real LLC" company, Kamran Behbudov, Executive Director of "Azintellectservis" company, Eldar Latifov,  Manager of "Ship Rock LLC" company and Yashar Iskandarov,  Founder and Director of "GABEG Ltd" company made speeches and expressed their pleasure of attending such a meeting and emphasized the importance of  organizing such kind of meetings regularly and establishing closer relationships with the university.
