On May 15, 2017,  the concert of the “Shalu” drum ensemble from the province of Bushehr, Iran, took place in the Marble Hall of Kazar University with the organization of  the Cultural Centre of Iran and Khazar University.Professor Hamlet Isaxanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, the administration of the university, staff members of the university, students, guests from Iran-  Asgar Farsi, the Director of the Cultural Centre of Iran and his deputy Alireza Behbudi participated at the concert.

Before the concert,Dr. Hasan Niknafs, President of the University, spoke and greeted the guests. Asgar Farsi, the Director of the Cultural Centre of Iran gave brief information about the music culture of Iran and emphasized the importance of the culture on the creation and development of international relations.

Later, the “Shalu” ensemble started their performance and demonstrated its mastery. At the end of the concert greeted with great interest and applauses , Dr. Hasan Niknafs, President of the University, expressed his gratitude to the Cultural Centre of Iran and the “Shalu” enseble for the organization of the concert.
