On May 8 , 2017, the play “Yeddi gözəlin sevgi əfsanəsi” “Legend of Seven Beauties” based on Nizami’s “Yeddi gözəl”( “Seven Beauties” ) was played at “Dunya” concert  within the framework of the project “Preparing plays on the basis of classic works” of Khazar University. The first performance- “Leyli Məcnun və məhəbbət” (“Leyili Majnun and Love”) based on Fizuli’s “Leyli və Məcnun” (“Leyili and Majnun”)  was played in December, 2016.

The administration of Khazar University, students from “Khazar” and from the other universities, parents, guests and also Rosa Jalilova and Jamila Bayramova; People’s Artists,famous dancers participated at the event.

The director of the play was the dance teacher of Khazar University Sabina Ismayilova.

The performance was prepared with the participation of student girls’ and boys’ dance ensemble of Khazar University and also with the coordination of the winners of “ Student Spring” art festival organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations’ Union from the other universities (Azerbaijan State Economic University, Azerbaijan State University of Architecture and Construction, Azerbaijan University of Languages, Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts,  Baku Choreography Academy). The author of the text was Vusal Najafov, a student of Azerbaijan State Economic University, the author of the poems was Jeyhun Huseynli, and the music designer was Aslan Azimzadeh, a student of Azerbaijan State Economic University.

Qara Qarayev’s composition was used in the play.

 At the end of the event which was greeted with great interest, director Sabina Ismayilova was invited to the stage, and all the participants were welcomed with applauses

Professor Hamlet Isaxanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees and People’s Artists Rosa Jalilova and Jamila Bayramova highly appreciated the performance and wished success to all participants.
